Little Mojo Classes - Ages 4 to 5½
Monday 3:10 - 3:55pm
Wednesday 3:10 - 3:55pm
Friday 3:10 - 3:55pm
Our Little Mojo karate classes will give your child a great start on life. Little Mojo classes are 45 minutes. They are fun, educational, and motivational. Kids love karate and parents love watching their kids learn and grow in a positive, well disciplined and encouraging atmosphere.
They begin by learning the rules of the class, developing focus, attention, and respectful behavior. They’ll practice good manners by learning to answer with “Yes Ma’am,” “Yes Sir,” “Please”, “Thank you” and “You’re welcome” and to do things the first time they are asked. Your child will learn to look you in the eyes when you speak to them and to wait respectfully when you are on the phone.
They'll do drills and exercises that introduce various techniques that make use of their entire body and mind, both left and right sides, arms and legs, hands and feet, while increasing their sense of balance and stability.
Children thrive with positive recognition, reward and reinforcement for effort, skill, manners, sportsmanship and respectful treatment of others.
Students earn tips and belts (see below) as they progress in class.
Testimonials:
"Our 5 year old son and 7 year old daughter have been training with Mojo Dojo for more than a year and I can tell how much more focused and disciplined they have become. I had to stand next to my son when he first started at Mojo Dojo and now he cannot wait to go to studio to practice his karate moves. Absolutely the BEST gift we have ever given our children when we decided to send them to Mojo Dojo. Shihan and his instructors are just wonderful and loving. We could not be any happier!" -MN
"I wanted to take a minute to thank you and the dojo for the wonderful changes and progress I see in my two kids. My daughter is four years old and has been at the dojo for a year now. I can see that through her karate practice, she is more focused and has better coordination. My son has been at the dojo for a year as well and I can see his improvement in focus and discipline. He loves being a part of the entire team at the dojo and gets a great thrill out of being a mentor to the younger children as well as being inspired by his older cohorts. Thank you Shihan." -MC
